We finally have our first sight of Rarang village, sitting atop a cliff, overlooking the Sutlej way down below.

We have just passed Pangi and have Ribba enroute before we reach Rarang. A turbulent nallah between Pangi and Ribba had us captivated and scared at the same time – one slip of a foot and we were in for a roller coaster water slide down the mountain and if we survived that: Grade 10 level of river rafting in the swirling Sutlej – without the raft. 😃
