A bit further ahead, we came across another serene green setting – the village of Dubling at 2518 metres above sea-level. Like other villages in Himachal, Dubling has a main road into town with the markets and hotels on or around it. The houses and farms of the village are set up around, lower or higher up the mountain.
From Dubling, we followed the road going to the left towards Khab, while a road straight ahead went into the village.
