The odd tree

Very, very rarely, there will be a patch of grass or shrub and some trees high up across the rock-face. They make me think they are the reason for lonely, precarious Ibex and sheep and cow trails in impossible places – in such a landscape a grass eating animal such as the Ibex would gingerly inch up to the grass, leaving the getting back down to be thought through after the meagre meal.
