At #Khab, we took a left turn and followed the #Spiti river, climbing away from the river into a silent, stark barren landscape displaying all shades of brown I could imagine. The mountains in Upper #Kinnaur are mostly rocky, with stretches of small gravel slides and giant formations of rock and mud and stones.
Except of course for #Ka, a little, really little village in green seemingly hanging amidst a sliding landscape. It’s fascinating and I kept staring at the green village for endless minutes under the clear blue sky and crisp white clouds. Then, we climbed even higher into mountains that resembled sand mountains, stretching endlessly marked by tiny, rustic roads that also wound themselves into the endless horizon.
