I have just spent 15 minutes walking around the most incredible place I have been to. It’s a huge meadow of sorts with mountains all around, the #Spiti nearby down below, a solitary road running through the middle and wind speeds of up to brrrr.
Kaushal and I were wondering why there’s no habitation here (and we have asked that question four times in the past hour at four different places). It’s the difficulty in getting water, says Kaushal.
Am thinking I’d rather trudge up and down to the river.
