Boileauganj, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, 19 September 2016:
We have a big trek coming up soon, and I find myself on rest – strained my left calf-ligament during my recent trek to Kinner Kailash.
While I am walking around and about town, I have to avoid long or strenuous journeys for a few days. So I was going through my notes and photos from earlier trips, and I found this cool video from a 2013 trip to Kamru in Sangla Valley.
It was a trip to visit a friend in Kamru village and on the spur of the moment we decided to visit Baley, an open ground above Kamru. And once in Baley, I suddenly felt the urge to climb higher so the three of us went up to Khanits and what an afternoon we spent there, with the stunning views of Kinner Kailash range, Reckong Peo, and Sangla.
The final climb up Khanits had taken us about an hour, but as you’ll see in the video, the way back down was faster!
