The ShaikhSpear Himachal Diary 2016: A View worth the Detour

Between Jalori Pass and Serolsar Lake, Himachal Pradesh, India, 19th September 2016, 10:45 am:

After around 45 minutes of peaceful walking on the well defined wide trail amongst the Oak forests, we reached a small clearing. And while the main trail continued going down to the right side, a small path could be seen going up the grassy hill on the left. Abhishek immediately took the small path on the left, for we needed a break from the regular trail and we also anticipated that the top of the grassy hill would offer some great views. And so we reached the top and what a beautiful setting it was – totally worth the efforts of the small climb up our detour.
