The ShaikhSpear Himachal Diary 2016: Breakfast, Information Boards and Views

Jalori Pass, Himachal Pradesh, India, 19th September 2016, 10:00 am:

A quick look around Jalori Pass, visiting the few dhabas, and we realized that there weren’t too many options. While one dhaba had only Rajma Chaawal to offer (which we thought was too heavy for breakfast), the person at another dhaba informed us that he had been away for a few weeks and had reopened his shop just a few days ago, and so he didn’t have anything to offer for breakfast. And so we ended up at the dhaba of Dhyan Singh Thakur who gave us Maggi as the alternative to Rajma Chaawal. Although Maggi wasn’t our preferred choice of breakfast but we went it for it considering it was lighter than Rajma Chaawal.

After breakfast and a warm refreshing tea in a steel glass, we took a stroll around Jalori Pass to check out various information boards and also beautiful views of Himalayan ranges visible from around the area. And soon after, we started the hike of 5 kms to Serolsar Lake.
