It’s been a while since I have been out Mountain Walking. Been a bit caught up with my city-life responsibilities, especially as back-office relief since the rest of the team has been out for more than two months on high-altitude treks and drives.
But the far-winds have been calling and I am getting restless, which usually means that at any time, I might just pick up and go.
Meanwhile, here’s something that I’d been holding back from my July trip to Kinnaur, Spiti and Lahaul. These series of images are of the evening sky over Nako village in Upper Kinnaur. They were shot between 7.20 pm and 7.27 pm on 15th July, 2016 – the sky went from clear to turbulent to disruptive to stormy in 10 minutes, electricity went out, a very light drizzle gently came down, accompanied by a biting cold but playful wind. I can still feel the wind on me … yep, the far-winds are calling.
In case you are wondering, I use an iPhone6 in Normal mode with no filters for my photography 🙂
