We are now heading directly to Kaza as there is no arrangement to stay at Nako or Tabo (the two major villages along our way). The road up till now had been clear of any snow on it, except on either sides of the road. I guess the road being so close to the valley floor experiences less snowfall as compared to the higher reaches. But still we have decided to stop if it starts to snow heavily; to avoid any risks. As we enter the Hangrang valley or Ka zigs to be more specific, with the river Spiti at its basin, it has started snowing with very small flakes (the ones that usually fall at the initial stage before the Big Bang). But as we gain more altitude towards Nako it has started to increase. Though it isn’t an issue yet as non of it is settling on the ground.
