Keurik, Himachal Pradesh, India, 22 January 2017, 1405 hours:
Lunch has been a light and on-the-move affair on all days. The Tserings pack Tibetan Bread or Paratha with a dry vegetable preparation, boiled eggs and chai. We eat in the car, after the bulk of the day’s work is done, usually between 2 and 3 pm.
Today will be no different.
Right now, Suresh, Ameen and Abhinav are in the village square, talking to residents, observing everyday life.
Meanwile, CEO Abhishek spent his time walking and observing and talking to the children of Keurik about their skiing and sledding techniques. Finally, after half an hour of observation, he couldn’t resist the temptation to go sledding himself, much to the encouragement and amusement of the local children and residents! 😂 (check out both videos).
And that’s classic Abhishek Kaushal – he explores, thinks, observes, tries, experiences and most of the time forays into entirely new territories, paving the way for others. Gotta admire his willingness to try everything!
