We are now truly stuck in half a foot of snow. We have decided to turn back because the car is more sailing without sails than driving anywhere. Even if cross the ridge we are on and get down, then we can’t turn back to Kaza. 

And we won’t be able to go ahead if we get stuck anywhere beyond Lidang. Apparently, there is heavy snow all the way to Shimla district and there is more predicted in the next few days.
