The Wayfarer Diaries: In a Trice

24-01-2017, 1715 hours, Lingti, Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, India:

While driving down from Dhankar, the look of the terrain has completely changed with the black tarmac road (which was earlier visible while we were on our way up to Dhankar) now covered with a thick coat of fresh snow. Everything outside is completely white now, with snow continuously falling and cold winds blowing simultaneously. Our plans for leaving for Kinnaur tonight has been cancelled after carefully examining our situation and considering the risk of driving on the treacherous road that connects Kaza to Kinnaur. I guess we are going to be here for a few more days.
