The Wayfarer Diaries: A Treat To Remember

27-01-2017, 1500 hours, Kaza, Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, India:

After a nice walk around the other side of Kaza (also known as Sri Lanka by the locals), we are heading back to the market to buy random eatables and other things required by us. The sky is completely clear now and the heat of the sun can be felt – so much so that some of the layers of clothing we have been wearing, have to come off!

And today is our lucky day. Past couple of days most of the shops here were closed and we hadn’t been able to find a place where we could eat some Chow Mein (which is something that I completely relate to when it comes to Tibetan food). I found a shop open and since they had all the ingredients required to prepare Chow Mein, we packed a good portion. The smell is so tempting that I cannot wait to get back to our room and have it!
