Lakes of Himalayas: Gurudongmar Lake

The Gurudongmar Lake, located at an altitude of around 17,000 feet within the Lachen Dzomsa area in North Sikkim, is one of 108 “Tso-Chen” or major holy lakes of Sikkim which are believed to be the abodes of local guardian deities.
