Tirthan Valley, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, India, March 26, 2018:

Exactly 8 hours after we started from Chandigarh, we have reached our destination in Tirthan Valley. Dusty, a bit disheveled (thanks to the cool wind in my hair all the way up), but all set for a walk along the river.

This is my first trip to Tirthan but more on that later.

For the time being, check out the river just before sunset. This is why one travels from Pune to Mumbai to Chandigarh to Kullu (a sum total of 14 hours on the road or air within a 30 hour span 😃).
