As a part of our goal to educate and empower the youth, The Mountain Walker initiated an Internship program through Internshala and we are pleased to share that Abhishek Mujumdar has been selected as the first Intern under this initiative. A native of Vadodara in Gujarat, Abhishek has recently completed his Bachelor’s of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad.

Abhishek is shortly set to join the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai for an MBA course but just before that, true to the traveler’s spirit in him, Abhishek planned and executed a 10-day road trip covering Jammu – Srinagar – Sonmarg – Drass – Kargil – Leh – Khardungla – Nubra – Pangong Tso – Jammu in May 2018.

Here is what Abhishek has to say on this occasion:

“After returning from an adventurous and memorable journey to the Himalayas, I started feeling an emptiness: an emptiness which was previously filled by the enchanting beauty of the mountains. It was then when my eyes caught a glimpse of the company named ‘The Mountain Walker’ on Internshala. I was quick to research more on the company and find out that this was what I wanted. It feels great on being selected as an intern in this start-up founded by a bunch of mountain enthusiasts and I look forward to give my best.”
