It’s been a while since I have written anything, especially by way of a journal. Over the years, I have been thinking of getting back to my journalism and writing roots, but never got around to it. It seems to have been a different lifetime, a different me, am so caught up with everyday family and household matters.

But here I am, taking a first step. My sister Urvashi (famous across social media as Bikerni) is here. And today also happens to be a call for Kullu Band given by the local MLA Sunder Singh Thakur, to protest on account of inadequate healthcare services in government hospitals for women in particular.

Let’s see how the day progresses … and how the week shapes up for my writing.
