Himalayan Photo Essay

Himalayan Photo Essay. I must admit that it has been a great challenge for me to write and present my perspective on the work that the team and I have been doing since we established the company in 2016. I am a mountaineer with a lot of practical and theoretical knowledge and my preference has always been to facilitate teams, and to get things done.

I consider myself a decent photographer and am quite critical of photographic output especially my own. But, I have learned that it is important to share my perspectives because that is where the real story lies. Many people have shot Tsomgo Lake. The question is why did I shoot it? If we don’t know that, it’s just another pretty picture.

We have started several new weekly posts and I am taking on the challenge to contribute to as may of them as I can, and my aim is to inspire others from the Himalayan states to share their perspectives.

In this week’s Himalayan Photo Essay, I am presenting 4 images of Lakes that we have shot, under the theme: ‘Reflections’.
