It’s been a roller-coaster journey since April when The Mountain Walker released its first paperback title, ShaikhSpear in Himachal by co-Founder Ameen Shaikh.
June has been kind to our little enterprise – the book just crossed an important milestone by selling more than 250 copies since launch. And as of this evening, ShaikhSpear in Himachal broke into the Top 10 and stood at #8 in the ‘Diaries, Letters & Journals’ category on the Amazon Best-seller. It is a dynamic list, of course, and rankings fluctuate daily based on copies sold, but we are thrilled to be in the Top 10 even for the day!
Shaikhspear in Himachal is the first book in The Mountain Walker Diaries series, and it presents the day-to-day perspectives on local culture, travel experience and uncut personal thoughts from one-and-a-half months of Ameen’s journey across Himachal Pradesh. Born and bought up in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, Ameen is a first-time author.
