Mountain Walker Private Limited is pleased to announce that it has won the ‘Most Trusted Travel Media Brand for the Indian Himalayas’ award presented by the Lux Life Travel & Tourism Awards 2020 in the United Kingdom. The award comes close on the heels of The Mountain Walker’s recognition as a Startup by the Government of India’s DPIIT under the Startup India initiative.
Reacting to the award, The Mountain Walker’s Founder and Chief Strategy Advisor, Sanjay Mukherjee, said, “In October 2019, we were informed that we had been nominated and quite frankly, we were pleasantly shocked. This is our first win and it means a lot since it is an independent award with no entry formalities or nomination fees and it comes in our fourth year of operations”.
He added, “We are a tiny startup and have been focused on quality of services and products and growing slowly by paying attention to each customer and client individually. On behalf of our team, partners and customers, we thank Lux Life for noticing a small company from India focused on a niche market like Himalayan travel and publishing”.
The Travel & Tourism Awards, presented by Lux Life Magazine of AI Global Media, is now in its fourth year and covers different travel industry markets from travel agencies to food and beverages services. The awards also recognise businesses that manage accommodations, provide transportation, entertainment and tours (and everything in between) in an effort to hail the key players contributing to one of the fastest growing sectors, by revealing their dedication and hard work.
The 2020 Travel & Tourism Awards were judged purely on merit. The Lux Magazine in-house research team drew a global shortlist of nominees without solicitation and then invited nominees to provide information on the basis of a standard survey. This was then carefully analysed along with the information available about the nominees (both online and in the public domain) to select winners in various categories.
