Abhishek Kaushal, Co-Founder & Chief Executive

Born and brought up in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India, Abhishek is an avid trekker, climber, and travel advisor for several Himalayan destinations. With ancestral roots in Chamba district going back several generations, Abhishek has traveled extensively across Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh, and also explored Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. He strongly believes that a journey should be all about experiences along the way and exploring the destination (and not just a check-list to be ticked complete). 

Abhishek is an alumni of St Edward’s High School, Shimla; He holds a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from the Heriot Watt University, Dubai, apart from a Diploma, Electrical Engineering from Technical College, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra. His professional career in the Oil & Natural Gas industry afforded him exposure to many different countries and cultures. He was with Schlumberger in different capacities developing his technical, operational, training and managerial skills. He subsequently moved to RedstoneSummerhill Media as an operational consultant, consolidating his business development and business management skills. He currently resides in Pune, Maharashtra and travels all over the Himalayas.
