Ameen Shaikh, Co-Founder & Chief of Operations

Born and brought up in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India, Ameen is a thoughtful writer, diligent photographer, and passionate trekker. Although his ancestral roots are from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and Cuddapah, Andhra Pradesh, Ameen’s affinity and connection to the mountains and his desire to explore them further has led him to travel across various lesser-known places. He pays attention to detail and adopts a systematic approach in order to achieve perfection through continuous improvement.

Ameen is an alumnus of St Edward’s High School, Shimla; He holds a Masters in Technology (Automotive Engineering) from VIT-ARAI, India; He had earned his Bachelor’s in Automotive Engineering from Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan, Karnataka, India. Ameen spent more than three quarters of a decade with the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) developing his research and performance evaluation competencies, and honing his process and quality orientation. He subsequently moved to RedstoneSummerhill Media as an operational consultant, consolidating his team building and ops management skills. He currently resides in Pune, Maharashtra and continues to travel across the Himalayas.
