The Old Hindustan Tibet Road is one of the roads which has most frequently been traveled on by The Mountain Walker. And over the years, some unique spots on this road have become a standard stopping place for us. Here we share pictures of the Sutlej in its different avatars as seen at different times (month and year) at one of these spots – Nogli, Himachal Pradesh. In all the photographs, the white building on the right and a rock in the middle of the river have always been our reference to understand and realize how the river changes from pre-monsoons to full monsoons to early winter to full winter to early spring.
