It is a beautiful day with clear blue skies, bright sunshine and the natural lighting is revealing the gradations in the landscape.
We have just completed shooting of the first introduction footage with Abhishek Kaushal, for the Spiti Winter videos.
The bright sunshine lulls you into a false sense of confidence that the cold has reduced. Take your gloves off and within 30 seconds the fingers start freezing. I made the mistake of fogetting everything and keep shooting a video for three minutes. Once the shot was done, I realised my fingers were paining. I quickly wore the gloves and shoved my hands into the jacket. It took a full 10 minutes to return to normal.
